iCure Privacy Policy

This is the Privacy Policy of the iCure app as defined by Rik Banerjee and Joydeep Banerjee (the developers of this app).

This Policy is meant to help you understand what information we collect, for what purpose we collect them, and how you can delete your information.

If you choose to use the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used only to provide the service in the best possible manner. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The main purpose of iCure is to connect people and help them find plasma donors.

There are 2 groups of users in this app - Donors and Recipients - they are potential plasma donors and potential plasma recipients respectively.

We collect the following information from all users:

(a) Your location: For anyone trying to find a donor, this helps us provide you the most accurate information about donors in your area and nearby areas.

We collect the following information from Donors while they are signing up and show them to potential recipients once they accept the terms and conditions:

(a) Full Name: You can decide to keep it anonymous. In that case, your name will not show up on the Donors List.

(b) Phone Number: This is required for people seeking plasma to be able to contact you via phone.

(c) Email Address: This is required for people seeking plasma to be able to contact you via email.

(d) Postal Code: This is required for the app to identify your location and show your profile to people in your area or in nearby areas.

(e) Blood Group: This enables people seeking plasma to quickly search for donors with a specific blood group.

The above Donor information is stored in our secure database and is not accessible to any 3rd party.

A current Donor can choose to no longer be a Donor and can delete his/her profile anytime. In that case, their information will be deleted from our database and will not show up after 24 hours from the time they chose to delete their profile. If a Donor chooses to uninstall the app, it is highly recommended that they explicitly delete their profile from the app before uninstalling. Otherwise, their profile would remain in our database and will continue to show up on the Donors list.
